I have been with LifeSource since 2002 and have thoroughly enjoyed my role as Donor Family Advocate where I am privileged to support donor families along their grief journey.  In the midst of great pain and sorrow donor families are able to look beyond their personal grief to the possibility of helping someone else.  I am continually amazed by the strength and generosity shown by families during what is undoubtedly one of life’s most difficult moments. 

In 1990, my boyfriend Jeff died in a motorcycle accident.  When his family was approached with the opportunity to donate, they welcomed me to be a part of their conversation and subsequent decision to donate.  It is a decision that has brought me great comfort during the last 20 years, knowing that others were given a second chance at life. 

As you continue to heal and move forward, my hope is that your family finds solace in your loved one’s legacy.  Please know they will never be forgotten.
