Support the Cause
You can help save lives by attending a LifeSource fundraiser or hosting your own event. Funds raised will help:
- Expand public awareness through educational campaigns to encourage and inspire others to consider registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor.
- Provide support to grieving donor families at the time a loved one dies to the months and years to come – for as long as they need.

LifeSource Golf Classic – September
The LifeSource Golf Classic is our annual fundraising event held in September. The event was started by the friends and family of Terri Opp, who died waiting for a life-saving transplant, but became an organ donor instead. This tournament has raised $2.14 million since 1995 in support of educational outreach about donation and transplantation and services to donor families in Terri’s memory.

Give to the Max Day – November
Give to the Max Day is one of the biggest giving days of the year for Minnesota nonprofit organizations, including LifeSource. Contributions to LifeSource help support our donor family aftercare program and expand public awareness and educational campaigns to encourage others to become a donor.
Host Your Own Event
Pennie Wars, pancake breakfasts, restaurant fundraisers, barn dances, benefit concerts, trail rides, softball tournaments, 5Ks, golf tournaments, trapshooting tournament, etc. The opportunities are endless. From contributions of a few hundred dollars to several thousand, no event is too small or too big to have an impact. Is there something that you or your loved one enjoyed doing? Community Alliance
Community Alliance brings businesses together to provide you a discount, while benefiting our community. Purchase a Brew Card or a Wine & Distillery Card for just $25, and enjoy BOGO pints at over 80 breweries, cideries, wineries and distilleries! You designate 50% of sale proceeds to one nonprofit partner, with an additional $1 of every sale goes to a specific nonprofit related to the card.

Fundraise using GiveMN
Commemorate a special person or occasion with a personalized fundraising page. GiveMN provides a platform which makes raising money for LifeSource easy with custom donation forms and personal storytelling. Go to GiveMN and follow the prompts to create your own peer-to-peer fundraiser. When prompted to select the nonprofit, enter 36-3584029 and select LifeSource.
