Organ donation is a complex process managed by federally designated Organ Procurement Organizations (OPO). LifeSource is the only OPO that manages this process for the state of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Western Wisconsin.
Did you know that 17 people pass away while waiting for a life-saving organ transplant every day? A new name is also added to the transplant waiting list every 9 minutes, but one donor can save and heal more than 75 lives.
