How did the Golf Classic get started?
Imagine being told only one thing can save your life: a new heart. And, only a small percentage of people pass away in a way that makes a new heart available. Life on the waiting list can be long and difficult.
The Golf Classic exists because of Terri Opp and the many others who did not receive their life-saving organ in time to save their life. Proceeds from this event increases community education about the importance of checking the box and supports donor families who lost their loved ones much too soon.
Since 1995, over $2.32 million has been raised through this event to support educational programs that increase donor designation and grow resources for donor families. Learn more about how this event inspires hope for others.

5 Easy Ways to Make a Difference with the Golf Classic Silent Auction
The LifeSource Golf Classic is our largest fundraising event for the year. This year, we hope to raise $200,000 for education and outreach programs and donor families’ support resources. Will you help us reach that goal?
*Please note that LifeSource and Majestic Oaks Golf Club staff are monitoring the effects of the coronavirus outbreak on in-person events. Our intent is to keep the day of activities in-person while adhering to any governmental mandates. If that plan changes at any point, we will notify sponsors and attendees as soon as a new plan is in place.*
Keep life on par. Check the Box.
