Welcome to the Memorial Wall
We’re honored you’re here today to remember and celebrate your loved one’s extraordinary gift. This wall stands as a lasting tribute to organ, eye and tissue donors whose selfless decision has brought hope and healing to countless others.
How to make a wall rubbing
What you’ll need
- A sheet of paper
- A charcoal stick or crayon
- A few quiet moments
Additional materials (beeswax crayons, regular crayons) are available inside the LifeSource office at the front desk for you to use if you happen to stop by during regular business hours.
How to
- Hold the paper: Gently place the paper flat over your loved one’s name.
- Rub lightly: Using the side of the charcoal stick or crayon, rub over the letters until the name appears. Moist towelettes are available for you to use — the charcoal sticks make your hands messy during the rubbing process.
- Take your time: There’s no rush. Many families choose to make more than one. Please place the unused or leftover supplies in the box after use. You are welcome to take the capsule with you.
- Keep it close: Many people frame their rubbing or add it to a scrapbook or memory box.
