Blase D. Ronspies

This quilt block was made by Blase’s grandmother, Margaret Ronspies. Blase loved to work with horses. He broke five horses in his 12 years of life. Blase and his dad drove the team at the South Dakota State Finals Rodeo. Blase also was awarded Best Teamster at the Wagner, South Dakota, Labor Day celebration. He was one special guy who is and was recognized for being a great horseman.
