We’re excited to be hosting this in-person Workshop, Growing in Grief, at our Minneapolis headquarters.

Get in touch with your creative side and join Susie Ausmus and Janet Allen, Donor Family Aftercare Program Administrators along with Emily Stacken, Donation Liaison, for this fun-filled Saturday morning. Donor families will have the opportunity to decorate their own planters, learn more about What’s Your Grief resources and fill their planters with flowers to honor their loved ones.

Meet the presenter: Emily Stacken
Emily Stacken is a Donation Liaison at LifeSource, whose main role is to provide support to donor families, advocate for donors, their families, and recipients awaiting transplants; and collaborate closely with hospital care teams throughout the donation process. She is a trained End-of-Life Doula, gaining her certification through Going with Grace. Emily is a life-long educator and advocate for individuals who are dying and their caregivers. She attended United Theological Seminary and received a Master of Arts in Leadership.

LifeSource is honored to partner with What’s Your Grief and provide an online learning space for our donor families wishing to explore, learn and connect around topics related to grief, grief-coping and grief support. What’s Your Grief offers a library of free online grief support webinars, courses, articles and podcasts that can be accessed any time, from the comfort of your home. The What’s Your Grief mission is to promote grief education, exploration, and expression in both practical and creative ways. We are so grateful for this partnership and the ability to offer this valuable service to all our donor families at no cost.
