Many grieving families feel a deep desire to honor the life and memory of their loved ones. This Workshop will explore how families have transformed loss into lasting legacy through acts of service, fundraising, remembrance, and community impact. Through real-life stories and examples, attendees will discover meaningful ways that love can continue to create purpose, connection, and lasting impact after loss.
Meet the presenters
Jenna Rogers, Vice President, Child Loss Foundation
Jenna is the Vice President of the Child Loss Foundation, where she leads development and donor engagement efforts that sustain programs supporting bereaved families. After the death of her infant son, Noah, to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) in 2010, she dedicated herself to supporting other families experiencing child loss. For more than 15 years, she has advocated for grieving families, developed supportive programs, and spoken to organizations about grief, resilience, and hope. Through both lived experience and nonprofit leadership, she is committed to creating meaningful support and lasting impact for families affected by child loss.
Shelly Kolwinska, Director of Programs, Child Loss Foundation
Shelly serves as Director of Programs for the Child Loss Foundation, where she is dedicated to supporting families navigating the loss of a child. Following the stillbirth of her daughter, Margaret Rose, in 2015, she developed a deep commitment to walking alongside other grieving families and helping ensure they feel seen, supported, and cared for during some of life’s most difficult moments. Through her work, she combines lived experience with compassionate program leadership to create meaningful resources, connections, and support for bereaved parents and families.
