Donor Family Workshop: When Grief Comes Suddenly: Grief Reactions and Where to Find Support

When: Thursday February 26th from 6:30-8:00 pm CST

Where: Workshop hosted virtually, invitation will be sent to those that register

Please join LifeSource to learn more about Brighter Days Family Grief Center. This Workshop will explore common responses to grief, particularly following a sudden death. We will discuss the many ways grief can appear, sometimes in unexpected forms, and how these reactions may affect individuals and families. The Workshop will also highlight the resources available to you and your family through Brighter Days Family Grief Center, a no-cost, statewide grief center in Minnesota.

Meet the presenter:

Chris Lillehei, Program Director at Brighter Days Family Grief Center has spent many years working with bereaved parents and families as a Hospital Chaplain and Bereaved Family Advocate.

Chris’ role goes far beyond logistics, as he personally visits families in their homes, offering comfort and guidance as they navigate one of life’s most heartbreaking moments, providing the tailored support they need. Additionally, Chris serves as a direct liaison to local hospitals, where many Brighter Days referrals originate. His presence ensures that families leaving the hospital do not step into the unknown alone.

Please register here by Tuesday February 24th

The services provided by Brighter Days Family Grief Center are specifically for Minnesota residents.

Please note – all registrations will be verified that you are a LifeSource donor family member by our Aftercare Team prior to receiving your invitation to join.
