LifeSource Announces New Chief Operations Officer, Steph Davis

Former Quality Director from North Memorial Health to Lead Organ & Tissue Operations

MINNEAPOLIS – LifeSource, the organ procurement organization (OPO) for the Upper Midwest, announced today Stephanie (Steph) Davis, MA, RN has been selected as its next Chief Operations Officer (COO).

Davis brings more than 25 years of health care experience, most recently serving as North Memorial Health’s Director of Quality and Patient Safety where she drove operational excellence across various systems. She began her career as a nurse, has a robust foundation in patient care and holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology.

“Steph’s demonstrated ability to lead through change made her the perfect operations leader for our evolving organization,” said LifeSource Chief Executive Officer, Kelly White, RN MS. “The value she places on teamwork was clear, and her core values align with ours at LifeSource.” 

As Chief Operations Officer, Davis will oversee the 24/7 clinical operations and play a critical role in LifeSource achieving its strategic aim to save 1,000 lives through organ donation and transplant in 2027.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the passion and compassion that the LifeSource team is known for and meeting the recipients and families whose lives are touched by this work,” said Davis.  

Davis’s first day as COO at LifeSource will be July 10, 2023.
