I oversee the 24-hour team that fields referrals from hospitals and other partners; these calls trigger the donation process. My team coordinates with our hospital partners, transplant centers, medical examiners and funeral homes while also communicating the opportunity for grieving families to honor their loved one by saving and healing lives through organ, eye and tissue donation. We are responsible for guiding the donation process, managing referral calls, evaluating each unique donation situation, coordinating with medical professionals and offering the opportunity for donation via phone.

I am inspired by the giving nature of donors and donor families. At a time when it would seem easiest to shut out the world, they open their hearts and minds to help others.
