As the sewer in the family, I was asked if I wanted to do this project and without hesitation, gladly said, “Yes.” I put my mind to it, and decided to use the poem his oldest daughter had written at the time of his death. It so says it all about his life. Since his eyes were the first thing they used, it was also very fitting. I was just 14 months younger than him so we really grew up together. How proud I am, and what a legacy he left.
