Rene Elaine Piersee

January 28, 1957 – September 2, 1991

This block typifies the enthusiasm René had for adventure and the outdoors. She was an accomplished skier, loved to bicycle and hike. However, her greatest love was working with teenagers, helping them develop a faith and become productive citizens. She spent five years in Germany working with military teens and later three years in Medina, MN as an Area Director for Young Life. The green trees at the bottom of the square represent the many teenagers she influenced.
