Robert C. Haswell

Mother’s Day 2003 each of my kids, their spouses and my grandchildren (15 in all) painted a tile for me, for which I picked the theme. I chose self-portraits. This was Robert’s. He died four months later from complications due to his rheumatoid arthritis. Of my six children, he was the most gentle and we all miss him greatly. His wife and 2 children are doing well but they have had a most difficult year.
