The Healing Garden

Created to celebrate organ, eye and tissue donors and their families, the Healing Garden at LifeSource serves as a peaceful and reflective gathering space along the beautiful Mississippi River, continuously blooming in spring, summer and fall. Featured in the garden, the Memorial Wall and Garden Benches are engraved annually with inscriptions to honor organ, eye and tissue donors.

LifeSource hosts an annual Healing Garden Ceremony to gather in remembrance and unveil new inscriptions, which are added each year prior to the ceremony. Please note: the deadline for submitting an inscription for the annual engraving is June 1 of each calendar year. If you have questions about the Healing Garden, please email legacy@life-source.org.

If you’d like to make a financial contribution to the Healing Garden, your gift, in any amount, will support the Healing Garden by:

  • contributing to the care and upkeep of the garden,
  • providing the opportunity for donor family events, and
  • making Memorial Wall inscriptions accessible to all donor families.

The Healing Garden remains a welcoming space to honor those who have given the gift of life. It is accessible 24/7, and you’re welcome to visit at a time that is convenient for you.

Memorial Wall Dedication

Inscribe your loved one’s name on the Memorial Wall in recognition of their selfless gift. The names engraved annually on the Memorial Wall will exclusively honor donors who gave the gift of organ, eye or tissue donation.
