Steven W. Gagnon was born November 20, 1957 in Bemidji, MN.

Steve had many loves in his life, including the Minnesota Vikings, Twins and the Wild. He loved living in Minnesota where he was able to snowmobile, camp, hunt, and four wheel with family and friends.

Another love was playing league softball for 20 plus years until a motorcycle accident injured his throwing hand.

Steve was professionally trained in auto body repair and loved anything with a motor. He painted many projects over the years and would paint flames on anything. He would say “it needs flames licking down the sides.”

More than anything, Steve loved his family! His greatest joy was the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dogs. He had a special bond with any child he met, since he was really a kid at heart.

Steve had a special gift which was the ability to talk to anyone and he was teased that he could talk to any “random stranger”. Steve died of heart failure on December 14, 2015. So it is fitting that, even in death, he can bond with another random stranger with his gift of organ donation.
