Donor Family Workshop: Behind the Scenes of Tissue Donation
When: Tuesday March 10th from 6:30-8:00 pm CST
Where: Workshop hosted virtually, invitation will be sent to those that register
Please join LifeSource, along with two members of the recovery team, for a rare peek into the world of tissue donation and transplantation. This Workshop will explore the lesser-known donation opportunity, and how it differs from organ donation. Topics will include the life-changing gift of tissue grafts, the recipients who need them, and how the LifeSource team honors the donor at the heart of this journey.
Meet the presenters:
Blake and Lexi are Tissue Recovery Coordinator Leads, representing over a decade of combined tissue recovery experience. Together, they run the Tissue Advocate Program (TAP), an opportunity for non-clinical staff to receive in-depth training about the field of tissue recovery and its profound effects within our community.
