Strong collaboration is key to making donations happen.
I work with our hospital partners to further the amazing mission of offering hope and saving lives through organ, tissue, and eye donation. My role is to collaborate and build relationships with hospitals, to provide education and data, update policy, to assist the LifeSource team, and to help support our donor families.
Prior to LifeSource, I worked in the private and public sectors as a planner, was an assistant professor, ran my own clinic and most recently worked for a large hospital system. Being a hospital partner liaison allows me to utilize my experiences from patient care within a healthcare system, education delivery, data analysis, strategic planning, as well as communications with partners. Having these experiences has helped me in my role with LifeSource.
LifeSource mission and values are the key reasons for what I do. I am motivated by the thought that what I do can help save or dramatically change a person’s life. I am inspired by individuals and their families that make a very thoughtful, generous gift to help a stranger in their time of ultimate need. They turn a very sad situation into a positive life-changing event for another. A truly altruistic decision, that is inspiring.
