Connection to donation/transplantation 
I am a 3x organ transplant recipient. I was born with a rare kidney and liver disease called Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease & Congenital Hepatic Fibrosis, and Carolis Disease. When I was 8 years old, I had my first kidney transplant, and my dad donated his kidney to me. In 2019, I went into liver failure and on May 2, 2019, I got a liver transplant. 10 months later I got my second kidney transplant. I have had all my transplants at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

How many Transplant Games have you attended?
This will be my third Games I have attended. 

Why do you participate in the Transplant Games? 
I participate in the Transplant Games to honor and celebrate my donors and donor families. The Games to me mean celebrating and being grateful for my donors and another chance at life. 

One thing you want others to know about donation
Organ donation has saved my life 3 times! Without my donors and the selfless decision they & their families made, I wouldn’t be alive, and I am so grateful for that.
