My daughter Marisa (also a Team MN-DAK Team Member) received a liver transplant on May 1, 1988, at the age of 11. My husband was a cornea donor after his death on April 3, 2014. 

How many Transplant Games have you attended?
I have been attending Games with my daughter since 1998. Both the U.S. games and the International Games. 

Why do you attend the Transplant Games? 
The Transplant Games are an opportunity to meet with other transplant recipients to share stories, applaud successes, share information about transplantation and have an enjoyable time. 

One thing you want others to know about donation
Although the decision to donate can be emotional and stressful, the act of donation is selfless and can allow a person in need of the transplant another chance at life.
