I received a heart transplant at University of Minnesota Medical Center January 13, 2018. 

Competitions/Events at the 2022 Transplant Games of America 
Opening ceremony, closing ceremony, men’s tennis, 5K (walk), team events. 

How many Transplant Games have you attended?
This will be my first Games. 

Why do you participate in the Transplant Games?
To honor my donor, Tom and show people what he did for me. His donations of his organs and tissue saved or significantly improved over a dozen lives. 

One thing you want others to know about donation
We marvel at the skill and dedication of our medical teams and at the advancements in technology and pharmacy. But without donors there are no transplants.
