Jonathan Michael Janzen

This quilt square is a loving tribute to our son and brother, Jon who gave us sunshine and joy for 18 years. Jon became a donor when he was a high school senior, after sustaining head injuries in a car accident. Jon’s quilt square is made from a hockey jersey, like he is wearing in the picture. Jon’s love for hockey started at age 2, when as the youngest of four children, he started playing goalie in the basement, using sofa cushions for pads. Jon was chosen to be captain in his senior year of high school. He is always loved, remembered and missed. This quilt square was lovingly made by the Janzen family.
